Rollati Ristorante is a modern Italian-American restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown San Jose. Our menu is a love letter to Italian-American cuisine, embracing the iconic dishes of Italy’s many regions, as well as those that developed in Italian kitchens across America.


Guests will find familiar favorites like meatballs marinara, linguine alle vongole, or a classic Milanese, alongside market driven dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients from local farmers and seafood purveyors, or the occasional nod to a modern pantry. Fresh pasta, made in house, is at the heart of the menu with a window in the dining room giving guests a behind-the-scenes view of pasta being made. The fresh pasta forms traditional and seasonal dishes, including filled and hearty baked pastas. Features from the Grill include a whole sea bream with black garlic bagna càuda while House Specialties include an array of classic Italian cutlets (piccata, Milanese, etc.) and cozy Italian classics like a thousand layer lasagna and pork saltimbocca. Pizza and seasonal produce from local farmers round out the menu providing everything from light, seasonal fare to celebratory dishes.


Our robust beverage program features an extensive selection of Italian and Californian wines that have been carefully selected to pair with our Italian flavors alongside classic Italian cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs, like a negroni, Aperol spritz or house-made limoncello.


The restaurant also provides an extensive provisions market, where guests can purchase dried pasta, house-made sauces, and freshly prepared items like salads or meatballs, and classic Italian pantry staples to enjoy on the go or to cook at home.
